Kem Intigrasi

After letting this blog 'dead' for more than 2 months, ok, ti's time to revive it..
For ur info, the last update is at 2nd May, which is already considered as an old post, by me, the handsome admin..

2 weeks ago, co-curricular department of SMKTBM organised a leadership camp for the uniformed bodies, that is Kem Intigrasi SMKTBM. The organising committee are, of coz, a group of veterans from different uniformed body, and under my command (in easy-to-comprehend context, i am the president of this camp).

As the organising committee consists of veterans from different committee, so as the participants!
The scout troop had sent 7 elites to participate in this 1st ever Kem Intigrasi.

Let's welcome our proud '7' !
Lee Vei Hung as the patrol leader;
Au Yong Tien Sing as the assistant patrol leader;
Tan Yi Jie as the commander;
Hee Chen Yee, Ang Way Shen, Yap Chern Hong and Lim Choon Shieng as the disciplined members
(Claps and applauses)

The camp is held at Perah Campsite, FRIM, from 26 to 28 June 2009.There are a total of 42 campers and 16 AJK took part. Of coz, everyone enjoyed it to the fullest.

26 June, the camp's registration started at 3pm, and everyone have their own time constructing their lovely tents. As I can see, the scouts are the fastest in rising the tent, (wow!) and they took their own sweet time decorating their surroundings. 1st day is boring, coz all the theoretical works have to be done before everyone can enjoy. OK, move on.

27 June, the most adventurous, exciting and tiring day. Early in the morning, every campers done their flag ceremony and exercised. Yi Jie was choosen to be the flag riser that morning. (Yi Jie, u r cool!!) Then jungle trekking for a whole day juz right after the breakfast.
Hehe, before they can rest properly, it's time for station games. Amazingly, within 10 minutes, they finished the monkey cross without falling into the water... So, u can c how their cooperation is so good. After had enough rest, it is cultural night. Performances, games and of coz, campfire was lit. Everyone had a enjoyable night and then, bedtime..

28 June, the toughest day of all. With aching body and near-cramp legs, is marching time! (This organising committee sure crazy, they r there to torture the campers.. hahahaha..) A hard day training conducted by coaches from headquarter of marching department. After that, marching competition is on.. Few days of sheer hardwork, however, still doesn't pay. KRS stand out as the winner, and Scouts lost terribly.. Don't feel disappointed!! We still hav hari koko to fight on!! A scout never give up!! Finished marching, having lunch, it's time to pack.. Before everyone can be allowed to get off, closing ceremony is held. Just after prizing-giving and a group photo, heavy downpour gt everyone into the hall. All wet but still everyone having fun inside it..

The most disciplined and cleanest : Renjer Puteri
The marching champion : Kadet Remaja Sekolah
The best performance : St. John Ambulance Malaysia
The winner of the activities : Renjer Puteri

AND.....

The CAMP CHAMPION : RENJER PUTERI !!!
APPLAUSE...

That's the end of the camp..

As a scout senior to u all, I have something to say:"U all have passed the 1st test of this camp : NEVER GIVE UP. Dont feel disappointed bcoz of wat u din get, but be proud of wat u had achieved, everyone can make a difference..
2nd test, u all too, passed : DETERMINATION. Fatigue, pain and hunger did not hold u all back during the marching competition. U all have did a great job in completing the marching competition by pushing through ur limits. Man's greatest enemy is not other ppl, but is urself. U all had overcome it. Great job!!
3rd test, passed : CREATIVITY. Scouts are creative. That's why they can make something from nothing. U all had proved me tat strict rules are dead and human's mind is alive. Remember scout 11th law : SCOUTS ARE SMART
4th test, the last test : COOPERATION. The simplest rule in a patrol is, stay together in a patrol and no one is left behind. Also, there is no 'someone' in the patrol system, but there are only 'everyone' in it.
Finally,

CONGRATULATION!! U ALL PASSED THE SHEER TEST OF THE CAMP!!

Before I end my last post, the last word : Scout spirit is like the campfire, once it's start to burn, it continues to burn all the time. Scout spirit never die, and it's is passed down from 1 generation to the next. Let ur spirit burn !!!

*The photo I will upload it as soon as i gt the photos, be longing for it!!
